By the time Momentum came around, the folks at Highspot knew employees were numb to the same-old Zoom and recorded content meetings. Seeking to stir things up a bit, they called on SHW to produce and stream the opening day keynotes and entertainment for their annual kickoff for 900 worldwide employees. Oh – and add a little zhuzh.


Inspired by the brilliant folks who produce videos for Dollar Shave Club, the event kicked off with an introductory spoof hosted by a fun emcee. But this wasn’t your pandemic-style point-and-shoot production. Our hero was recorded by a photographer on a Segway with a carbon fiber camera harness.

With a scripted through-story, the live-streamed event took the audience on a virtual journey to visit with executives at three mobile studio scenes, enjoy remote entertainment by a DJ in Texas, and hear from remote presenters. We used cinema-grade cameras and equipment, and vMix broadcast technology to engage with all those Zoom callers.


SHW can’t take credit for Highspot’s rapid market growth or award-winning sales enablement platform, but we basked in the kudos declared by their leadership team: “Best Momentum yet!” Not bad for a Zoom call, eh?
