Since their founding in 2009, Wanderlust has grown into the world’s leading wellness lifestyle platform, centered around live events and digital media. Their events include exclusive multi-day gatherings at renowned resorts and one-day “mindful triathlon” events in the heart of major cities spanning the globe. Wanderlust 108 Brooklyn has always been one of the largest, attracting thousands of attendees, major sponsors, and a vibrant community of craft & food vendors to Brooklyn’s Prospect Park.
THE APPROACH
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Wanderlust events had been on hiatus for 18-months and thus had lost its entire event production team. SHW stepped-in to produce the 1-day festival from end-to-end. Our work included liaising/permitting with NYC Parks, Police, Fire & health departments, event design & site planning, AV production, sponsor activations, craft & food vendors, beer gardens, greening and onsite staff management, attendee experience and video for livestreaming online. All completely COVID safety compliant.
THE IMPACT
Whilst the event faced a challenging supplier & staffing environment in one of the busiest cities in the world, the SHW team produced a highly curated experience for 3,500 happy in-person attendees and thousands of viewers online. The result was quality media content, successful sponsors and satisfied vendors. We thoroughly enjoyed working with the Wanderlust founders and their major partners Sweaty Betty apparel, Nirvana Water, Volvo Electric Cars and more.
